God bless this beautiful blessed talented Hawaiian Woman so awesome merry Christmas 🎄🤙🎄
Been a fan of several Canadian artists most of my life (Bachman Turner Overdrive and Rush). But I've always had a special place in my musical heart for Gordon Lightfoot. This cover is my first time hearing either of these two. What beautiful rendition.
😢I love this song!

Whatever happened to her?
She directs/directed Christian movies with her mother
This is a cover of a country song. Loyal's is by far the loveliest and most emotional rendition and always makes me cry. I'm crying as I type this.

This era of Pop will be sorely missed.
Reverend: We are gathered here today to celebrate the marriage of Ole Smork and Karen Sympathy. (To Ole) Ole Smork, do you take Karen Sympathy to be your lawful wedded wife for better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, as long as you both shall live? Ole: I do. Reverend: (to Karen) Karen Sympathy, do you take Ole Smork to be your lawful wedded husband for better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, as long as you both shall live? Karen: I do. Reverend: The rings, please. *The ring bearer went to Karen and Ole. Ole placed the wedding ring on Karen’s left ring finger, and she put the other wedding ring on his left ring finger.* Reverend: I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride. *Karen and Ole kissed each other on the lips. The organ player performed “Wedding March” on the organ. The guests cheered including Rocky and Bullwinkle.* Bullwinkle: (crying) We have never been so happy. (Blowing his nose in a handkerchief) Rocky: (crying) I know. This wedding is so beautiful. *The guests are dancing at the wedding.* Karen: Rocky and Bullwinkle, this is my new husband, Ole Smork. Rocky: (shaking Ole’s hand) Nice to meet you, Ole. Bullwinkle: (shaking Ole’s hand) Pleased to make your acquaintance. Ole: I’m very delighted to meet you guys. Karen told me all about you. Bullwinkle: How did you two meet? Ole: We met at the Red Bait Prison in Oklahoma where she planted a flower garden while the other women are breaking rocks. I had to keep a watchful eye on her because I was a prison guard. Karen: He gave me a fancy dinner instead of the disgusting slop in the prison cafeteria. Then we went to the movies. Rocky: That was really nice. Ole: After that, I got fired from my job as a prison guard for helping her escape from jail.

RIP Coach Velasco! #RamDown
Almost 140 years, and the Casavant company is stronger than ever. Closing in on 4000 organs built!
OOH YOU FUCKED THAT UP IN THE BEGINNING!!! AND ALL THE NOTES SOUND JUMBLED TOGETHER GIRL STOP
God bless you, Ms. Garner, wherever you are. Loyal Garner, Wahine No Ka Oi.
I stumbled on this video quite by accident and was interested to hear what I would guess is a "vintage" Casavant. Even though the recording was probably made using a hand-held device, one can get a pretty good idea of how magnificent the organ must sound in the church. The circumstances of the recording are made clear: "Recorded during an open house..." I imagine the player just sat down and spontaneously gave people an idea of what the organ sounds like. There's no music in sight, and he's probably just playing by ear and memory...not to show off his skill, but to demonstrate the organ. He may not even be an active organist any more. And...most likely, he had no idea that his little demonstration was going to be put up on UA-cam! So...all the indignation about the less than note-perfect performance AND the admittedly hurried tempo is really way off the mark: the purpose was not to impress a prospective bride and groom but to give some visitors a taste of what the organ could do. And given that limited, purely utilitarian purpose, I'd say our organist friend did a pretty darned good job on the spur of the moment!

Hmmm. She's kind of got the wrong approach here. It's an intimate song. It's not a song you yell l all the way through. He would have done better solo.
You have to be kidding me! Sarah sounds incredible here.. this is an absolutely brilliant version, Jim knows she's the power here, he purposely floats along nicely in the background and lets her take sail. Sarah is a master pianist and vocalist, she's like a female Freddie Mercury. When you are doing a cover or tribute of a song, you don't always have to do a note for note replica, you do your own thing and while keeping the real feel, and they did that perfectly here. After this show Gordon said this was the best performance of one of his songs that he had ever witnessed. That's from the man himself.
I get what you're saying. It sounds beautiful, but it lacks a bit of the intimacy in style. She has a nice voice, but she sings it in a style that is not quite somber or moody enough. Music is about the feels, and it's not enough just to sound great and hit every note. The mood is just as important as those two elements. Jim was, as always, amazing and he did follow her lead. They sound very nice together and I would like to hear more duets with them.
i listen to dis alla time. Now its more dearing bcuz it reminds me ov my beautiful sista Keli. Luv u Keli...RIP

35 years and this song still makes me cry whenever I listen to it and think of Coach V.
i know how you feel.
I was there, class of '82. So crazy emotional for a group of high schoolers. Ram's were undefeated that season! I remember it as Loretta Ables(who was Coco von Rohr's sister)singing this song at an assembly at Radford in coach V's honor. Everyone, absolutely everyone was in tears.
